Heritage Park and Gardens is open and available for event rental. For the health and wellness of guests and staff, we ask that all park visitors adhere to CDC Best Practice Recommendations for social distancing and wearing masks.

This beautiful estate, located at 1004 Helvenston Avenue in Live Oak, Florida, was purchased in 2012 by the City of Live Oak using a Florida Communities Trust Grant. A 501c3 non-profit organization known as The Friends of Heritage Park & Gardens leases and maintains the property.
Our mission is to preserve the historic site, to promote tourism, and to provide additional recreational activities for the community. The home and gardens can be rented for private events such as weddings, reunions, corporate retreats and more. Special events include the Civil War Reenactment in November and Christmas at Heritage Park which includes tours of the beautifully decorated house and numerous events for children.
Come visit our walk-ing trails, disc golf course, horseshoe courts, landscaped gardens, children’s playground and covered picnic areas.

Volunteer
Our volunteers are the BEST! We are honored to have been award the Group Volunteer Award by the Florida Department of Recreation.
Keepers of the Park play a very special role in support of the daily opera ons and maintenance of the home and gardens for the enjoyment of families throughout the area. Our Keepers of the Park pledge of $1,000 per year or $100 per month for three consecutive years. Please join us in our effort to enhance our community through the cultural, educational, and recreational programs offered by this beautiful park.
